If they want to save the time (about 3 seconds I think); it takes to do an extra right click and an extra left click and are happy with removing a level of security then:
Click on where it says 'Not secure'
Then click on 'Permissions for this site'
And change 'Insecure Content' from...
It is Edge and they just need to tell Edge to 'keep and keep anyway' the file which will then allow the download to continue. See the screenshots below which you could possible forward to them as they will know what 'buttons to press' when in Edge even if you don't.
Nope, I'm not getting it. Through File Editor I have created a file called S99myserversymlink at /mod/etc/init.d and used various modified concoctions of the scripts shown in Creating a script to auto-run at boot (click) and I cannot get this extra folder which I have created in /mnt/hd2 called...
It is all working fine and doing exactly what I wanted it to do. Thank you for the guidance.
I am off now to try and work out how to do that boot script wizardry even though I don't think I need it and will never make use of it but hey ho why do people climb mountains.

Reply appreciated.
This is what I thought and was expecting, however, prompted by your reply I appear to now have sussed it and have indeed put the speed thing down to how I was doing it. I.E if I cut/paste or copy/paste it gives me 4 MB/s there or there abouts. If I go in to FileZilla and...
HDR Fox T2 with CF 3.13
The web interface (v1.5.0-9) has an option in 'browse / media' to create a new folder (see below screen print) which, when you are in the interface appears to work and save accordingly; however it does not survive a reboot and the folder (and any subsequent folders...
Does this achieve what you are trying to do:
Login to rs.hpkg.tv and click on the 'Visual' tab towards the upper top left which will then show you everything due to be recorded in the forthcoming week.
You can then click whichever programmes you do not want to record and press 'Skip This Episode'.
Yes, Kodi on the Firestick. Unless you already know how to do it, use this guide:

Also have a quick read through this as there may be bits in it of use...
Install Kodi on the Firestick and then add the Humax T2 as a video source: https://kodi.wiki/view/Adding_video_sources
And, 'Your post contains links to Amazon, but the anchor text for each link is whitespace. Why?' = Don't know
Firestick works for me with streaming. I even run my Humax T2 through it in conjunction with Kodi which has the added benefit of subtitles never going out of sync.
If you decide to go the Firestick route the one I have is 'Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Ultra HD' which can also control the TV volume...
Never really used Iplayer via the HDR-Fox T2 before but prompted by this thread decided to have a fiddle earlier today and it also causes a crash/reboot the same as described by the OP (I have New Portal & iplfix installed).
One thing I did notice is that when you enter the portal and are met...
You presume correctly about samba 3.6.25-1 (the SMB compatible file sharing server) and SMB was being handled by 2.2.12-6 at the time I did not have 3.6.25-1 installed.
This is now working, surviving reboots/power offs and I have put my previous attempts down to ‘operator error’.
I installed wireless-helper first and then SMB 3.6.25-1, set the mapped drive up via Explorer with reconnect at sign in ticked and connect using different credentials ticked (I used...
Don't spend any more time on this please as I am conscious people are making a lot of effort for no real gain. When I first started with the mapped network drive I was expecting it to be set up, finished and running glitch free within minutes. When that didn't happen it became a battle of wills...
I have done my Googling and the problem I have does not appear to be particularly uncommon. I have tried numerous suggestions but all to no avail and I am still none the wiser as to where the issue actually lies. There is no problem setting the mapped drive up and the icon stays in Windows File...
Quick update on this.
All was working fine yesterday and the mapped drive survived numerous test reboots/full power-offs of the T2, laptop and router but as of this morning the problem is back. Now that I understand a bit more about mapping drives and the terminology used I can do some Googling...
At least either the laptop or router will be on. I am never in the situation where both are powered off at the same time as is the case with the T2 and laptop. I do however reboot the router (whilst the laptop is on) from time to time and power of the laptop daily whilst the router is still...
WHEHEY!!!! It worked, or at least in my case: net use y: "\\192.168.1.50\My Video" /persistent:yes did.
Any idea why I would have to do this for the T2 but not the SSD plugged in to the router?
