Our 1010s has worked fine for about 5 years. It may have been a 'refurb' when we got it from Humax and be a bit older, but I don't remember.
Recently it's had a tendency to reboot itself a couple of minutes after start-up: Typically we bring it out of standby which takes a minute or so to settle, go to the recordings list and start watching a programme. About half a minute later it reboots itself.
After the reboot we go through the same process (it doesn't remember that the recording has been started) and it then works fine.
I assume it's an age thing but have no idea what the cause may be.
Anybody got any ideas?
Is a HDD format or reset to defaults likely to have any effect?
