1800T BUFFERING PROBLEM

That is what happened when I tried something similar on a 2000T. It is the transition between that is the problem.
Is that positive confirmation then? 1800T/2000T padding system is broken when dealing with consecutive programmes??

There could be a difference between the software versions. If nothing further comes to light I'll get my HDR-2000T out of storage at the weekend and try it on 1.01.6, 1.01.13 and possibly on 1.01.10.

 EEPhil was referring to your example of what would happen on an HDR-FOX T2.
Luke is right. My recollection of how the 2000T behaves (from when I was determining which timer method I would use on a daily basis) was a confirmation of BH's example . I will give this another try and report back later (maybe).

I've done a quick test on the 2000T using short consecutive programmes from the children's channels.
The Humax is set to auto-pad 2 minutes before, 5 minutes after.
Code:
Channel EPG Start Duration Actual Start / End
CITV* 09:40 0:15 09:38:01 09:54:58 (~17m)
  " 09:55 0:10 09:55:02 10:04:58 (~10m)
  " 10:05 0:15 10:05:02 10:24:58 (~20m)
CBeebies 09:45 0:20 09:43:30 10:04:59 (~21.5m)
  " 10:05 0:20 10:05:00 10:24:59 (~20m)
  " 10:25 0:25 10:25:00 10:49:57 (~25m)

*=series link for CITV. CBeebies was 3 separate recordings.
CBeebies was running 2+ minutes late so the junctions occurred during the programmes.
One CITV junction was in an advert break, the other during the programme.
This seems to behave as we expect.
Software version: 1.01.13

This seems to indicate there is something wrong with Tim's box in particular and not the model range in general. Factory reset time.
