Another new channel arrives soon and one bites the dust.

A google search indicates SportyStuff TV is a channel for sports betting: horse racing, greyhound racing, that kind of thing. Google indicates Freeview LCN 271, which is a streamed service, but 271 is listed in the EPG (and on freeview.co.uk) as "Channelbox", and the content listed on 271 is definitely not horse and greyhound racing! Nothing corresponds with "sportystuff" in the freeview.co.uk listings.

"On Freesat, SportyStuff TV was available on Channel 250, on Freeview, it was only available via streaming on Channel Box (271), and on Sky, it was available on Channel 427."

No wonder that I had never heard of it.

The design of the freeview viewable epg only caters for a single channel for each LCN. How the freeview epg is setup to handle channelbox's 70 to 80 channels is to include a mix of Channel Box's different channels. Currently the visable freeview epg is displaying "Sporty Stuff" in the 23:30 - midnight slot for each day covered.

...and a mixture of sporty things (eg billiards – I wouldn't mind seeing that) around the same time.
