Any way to reinstall packages after new install

okay I thought I had better start another thread rather than adding to my previous post, so my son decided to try and help me and removed the customised firmware and reinstalled it, so question is is there anyway to get all my installed packages back or is it start from new ?

I posted earlier that I seemed to have got 3 deleted folders and I didn’t want to mix the threads up, so posted this one asking if there was a backup of my installed packages anyware that I could get or do I need to reinstall them all
 
Same applies, whatever whenever. It's no big deal to go through the packages "available" list and tick the ones you want, and if you don't know you want them don't tick them (chances are you had them installed for no good reason).
 
Thanks looks like another clean install, not a bad thing I suppose, I used to do my pc every once in a while, thanks
