BBC Proms Sync Issue on Freeview

Been watching the last night coverage on BBC One and Two (HD). On both channels when someone was speaking the audio/ video syncing on Freeview was terrible. It looked like a badly dubbed foreign language film. It was equally bad on my Samsung TV and HDR-FOX T2. I also have Sky HD (I know): it was much better on this platform.

I noticed this during the Mary Poppins medley, watched via HDR-FOX T2.

Sync seems to be an ongoing issue with digital TV.
