Blank content on the webif EPG and Services pages

Yesterday the EPG and Service pages stopped working and showed no EPG or Service information. After a fair amount of investigation it turned out that the problem was caused by Avira Free anti-virus. I've had no problem previously so I'm assuming a recent update to Avira has caused this issue.

So just in case there's anyone else out there puzzling over this then the fix is to either disable Internet Protection > Web Protection in the main Avira window or leave Web Protection enabled and add the URL / IP Address of the webif as an exception in Internet Protection > Web Protection > Scan > Exceptions.
