Broadchurch on ITV3 (10)

I've been recording the recent repeats of Broadchurch on ITV3 (10).
They're transmitted in pairs during weekdays starting at 21:00. The first one is usually on time. The second one often overruns. I've set the timers using accurate record. Has anyone else had issues with the recording for the second episode (of the evening) cut off early due to the overrun?
One option is to use padding for the timer, but that may tie up the tuners when I have something of interest on another channel.
On a related note, I only receive adverts on ITV3+1(58) and ITV4+1(59).

ITV are incapable of actually putting the complete programme into the AR hole that they themselves generate.
Beggars belief doesn't it, but it's true.

I'm convinced most of the current problems I've experienced are down to the broadcasters trying to "encourage" people to their streaming services.

Oh well, that's their idea of progress I suppose.

On a related note, I only receive adverts on ITV3+1(58) and ITV4+1(59).

I usually dump +1 channels using Tunefix but I can see that the EPG for ITV3+1 and ITV4+1 consists of just two entries per day:

04:00 to 06:00 Teleshopping
06:00 to 04:00 Programmes start at 4am

I came across this explanation "ITV makes surprise Freeview change" which seems to shed light on the situation, although report does come from 30-Nov-2023 and doesn't mention ITV4+1.
