Catch up scroll back

In the TV guide? IIRC there is a colour button in the menu at the bottom which allows you to pick a day.
 
Thanks Mike, yes I think you mean the yellow button, I've tried that and it only allows you to go to a future date not backwards.
 
When on the epg pressing < twice takes you back to already aired shows where there is an obvious list on the left where you can choose from any day of the last week to view.

Edit. If you cannot see the list it is because you are set to Grid, press the yellow key.
