Change function of Prime Video and Kids buttons on remote?

In the past I was able to re-programme the Prime Video and Kids buttons on my Aura remote to open iPlayer and Kodi respectively. The buttons no longer do this, and I don't remember how I managed this in the first place.
Does anyone know how this can be done?
