Change ITV Region

Living in Scotland I get STV at the minute and I'm trying to get it setup to watch the England game but even though I change the postcode to one in England it is still coming up with STV instead of ITV.
Can anyone help on a way to do this.

If you are not within range of a transmitter broadcasting itv, you will not be able to receive it.

Have you tried entering your postcode and house number into the digitaluk coverage checker? remember to tick the Detailed view box. This will tell you the most likely, and alternative transmitters that may be receivable from your location.

Ah right, sorry I just assumed I would be able to get it if I put in a different postcode.

You would be able to select a different itv region if you were using a Freesat box.
