My hdr1100 s has given up, I am trying to get recon. board but have been asked for rating of box, not a clue on this, I do have part number as printed on board.
Can anyone help/advise.
I cannot do any repairs or fault finding as I know nothing about electronics.

No idea what that means or why it would matter, maybe whoever is asking means the product code. Sounds fishy.

Why are you looking for a circuit board? Are you under the delusion that by replacing the board you will get access to your existing recordings? You won't, they're (probably) encrypted and only recoverable with the original unit.

I think you would be better off just trying to buy a complete second-hand unit on eBay (or whatever). Eg: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185730898049
