Copying from Foxsat to PC

I have a Foxsat HDR with the Raydon upgrade which is connected to my Windows PC via the ethernet. I can see all the recorded files on the PC but wish to copy some to a USB drive. I can copy direct from Foxsat to the USB but it is very slow, so wondered if it was possible to copy to PC and the to the USB.
 
Don't expect that to be significantly faster, the bottleneck being the processor in the Foxsat.
 
Yes it's possible and probably easier.
Use the FTP server on the HDR (either vsftpd or tinyftp package) and something like filezilla on the PC.
I've had speeds of around 7MBytes/sec (as reported by filezilla) for the HDR to PC transfer.
