Hi
Thanks
Yes I know that but that only gives dates/times
I was led to understand that if I installed a package called crashdiag
I would get a detailed log of the crash.
I'm assuming (dangerous I know) that I will have to telnet in to see this log
but where is it?
Thanks

Ah O.K., I do have the crashdiag package installed but I haven't had a crash since installing it so I don't have any examples, the files from crashdiag are stored here :-
/mod/core/humaxtv.<UNIX timestamp> and I think you are correct in saying that they must be examined using Telnet
