Deleted nearly everything but HDD still 72% full

The hdd was 98% full, so I deleted nearly everything on it except about 10-12 hours worth of programmes. It’s still 72% full. Why is that, and is there a way I can look for a big file hiding somewhere ? Thanks, Norman

Have you accounted for how long it takes to delete stuff? It might still be doing it.
