Disk Diags

I have run the disk diags through the main menu and smart status was passed. The firmware v- sc13
I have also run the Disk Maintenance through telnet. All was ok (after running the maintenance utilities) except for /mnt/hd2/mod/tmp/redring.log, which it was suggested I may wish to delete.

RM /mnt/hd2/mod/tmp/redring.log did not find the file or directory.

I could see the file in media tomb but do not know how to delete the file from there.

How do I delete the redring.log?

After disk maintenance I returned to the main menu to find a warning of potential problems with internal HD:

Diskpending sector count = 1
Disk offline sector count = 1

It advised that I go to disk diags. What should I run?
I have gone back into the control screen and the potential problem is not reappearing. Can I therefore assume it is cleared?

If you really typed "RM" then that would be the problem; Linux is case sensitive and it should be "rm".

Run the disk maintenance again just to be on the safe side.
