Encryption Key failure

My T2 reset itself last week so I had to set-up as if new though all the CF remained as before but now it seems the Encryption Key setting is not working, I am unable to play old recording that had not been decrypted and any new ones that get auto-decrypted then fail to play, setting the key to either the default or that previously set appears to do nothing.

I`m wondering if the key setting routine has somehow got corrupted/deleted.

Please advise possible solutions.
 
Have run fix-flash-packages which has restored the setting but there still seems problems with some recordings, I`ll report back when I know more.
