Faulty recordings

I deleted a lot of recordings last week. Since then many new recordings are faulty/incomplete showing the green circle and brown rectangle symbol next to it.

Is there anything I can do? Could deleting many recordings at once cause this?

It is most likely some sort of file system problem and the only realistic way to sort it out is to watch any important recordings and then format the drive from the HDD Control menu item in the Record menu.

Thanks, Martin. I suspected I might need to format the drive. I will wait a few days to see if the problem continues, then format the drive as you suggest.
