This is just a matter of curiosity as the issue is resolved. Last night, I finally found a use for the fifth and last favourites list. I added channels, renamed the list and saved it. All seemed well and the list was visible from the "List" button menu.
This morning, after a restarting from standby, the list was nowhere to be seen and a reboot didn't help. I eventually found that the list was there but had been renamed to "TV". I thought the system didn't like the name I gave it (Odds'n'Sods), I renamed it to "Misc" and rebooted. Again, it had been renamed to "TV". Finally, I renamed it again, created a manual backup, rebooted, restored the backup and rebooted again. This time, the name stuck.
Was this normal behaviour?
