fix-disk diagnostic

Hi All,

Should I run the fix-disk diagnostic command from within the command line telnet screen directly from within Webif? I am poised to click 'Y' to running it but am used to making the Humax go into maintenance mode prior to doing this.

You've bypassed the system. From that menu choose maint, and then the disk maintenance will be available from the subsequent menu in maintenance mode.

what will happen if I click Y at this point? Don't want to break it but then again it's a lot easier if I can run it from that.

Truth is I don't know - but you won't get accurate results trying to analyse/fix a file system that is mounted and in use. That's what maintenance mode is for.

Nothing. There isn't a diagnostic called "fix-disk".
