HDMI Issue with Humax Foxsat HDR and Panasonic TX-P42S30B

#1
Hi guys,

Any help on this would be most appreciated.

Took delivery of Foxsat and connected it up with HDMI cable. Tried all 3 HDMI connections on tv. No picture or sound via HDMI.

Tried yellow, red and white leads into AV2. This worked fine.

Turned off both tv and box. Turned off both switches at wall. Tv on followed by box. No change. Problem still there.

Switched cable on tv from Hdmi 2 to 1. Tv automatically switched to HDMI 1 so looks like tv recognised something was happening but still no picture or sound.

I have also tried a different Hdmi cable!

Software is latest version.

Tried cycling through the V Formats. Enabled and disabled the HDCP. Still no go.

Connected box to tv with scart and worked fine too. HDMI only output not working.

Any ideas?

Assuming HDMI on the TV is working OK with another source such as a Blu-ray player then it sounds like you have a duff box and should arrange an exchange / refund at your earliest convenience.

TV works fine with another foxsat that I borrowed. My one will have to go back.

Thanks
