Does HDR-FOX T2 support USB hubs (separately powered) allowing for more than 1 ext HDD to connect to the rear USB socket? The rear socket is more convenient and neater than using the front panel socket.
Quick answer, Yes. Although there was some doubt about using the Poundland ones that are not self powered. There has also been some discussion about limitations in being able to copy from one USB HDD to another
I don't require the ability to copy between ext HDDs but need to transfer out from the internal HDD before deletion/format to create free recording space.
I'm hoping the powered hub will allow for 2 or more ext HDDs, also separately powered, to remain online and searchable.
