HDR Fox T2 Waking up Media Server?

    Hello there,

I'm a recent convcert to Humax equipment. We now have an HDR T2 in our lounge and a HD T2 in our bedroom.

Everything is working swimmingly, including DLNA access to music / photos and videos on a Windows XP based Serviio media server.

The media server is hidden away in a cupboard under our stairs, and is currently timed to wake from standby first thing in the morning and return to standby last thing at night.

What I would really like though is for the Humax boxes to wake up the media server either when they are turned on or, preferably, when you try and access the media server over the network. The XP media server does support wake-on-lan (we have laptops that cause it to wake up), but is there anyway of making the Humax boxes do this?

Failing that, has anyone come up with some clever alternatives for acheiving the same behaviour?

    Thanks in advance.
