How do I wake up the Humax Box?

Hi, I have installed the custom firmware. This works very well. The next thing I want to do is access the box remotely so I can schedule a recording. Not surprisingly the box is in sleep mode unless someone turns it on manually.

Is there a way to wake it up remotely?

Set a daily on/off at a time convenient to you to set a recording and/or access when you know the box is within 15 minutes of a AR/Series recording and during the recording.

It is possible to set up a network-connected IR blaster, which can then send the power-on/off code on command from anything that can reach your network. The RPi is a way of doing it.

A smartphone or tablet with ir out and a suitable app is perhaps the most likely option. Trouble is we tend to take these on holiday with us.
