A relative had an old HDD with data from a Humax CI-5100 stored on it that the player no longer worked. He asked if it was possible to recover all of this saved recordings on the drive. After reading many of the other threads and trying the tools they do not seem to work with this model. That being said, I am largely ignorant when it comes to these devices and decrypting these things.
The drive itself isnt recognized by file explorer but shows up under device manager. The files on the disk were also able to be "recovered" using testdisk and copied to a local folder. Is there anything that can be done?
