It Speaks Volumes but the Point is Mute.

The Volume and Mute buttons on my remote do not work.

The PVR button lights up in red as I press these buttons, as it does for the buttons that do work.

Have I accidentally hit a setting to cause this?

Any advice welcomed.

Not "accidentally" – deliberately but forgotten about. This function is useful to control volume/mute using the TV controls rather than confuse matters by also controlling volume/mute with the HDR.

WebIF >> Settings >> Settings for ir package >> Disable volume controls

Should be obvious really.

Apparently, I also have "Block remote control mode change icons?" set to Yes.

Which I'm guessing I wouldn't see anyway unless I change Remote Control Mode via the last dropdown?

No, they pop an icon up on-screen when you press "TV" "PVR" "DVD" etc.

Basically you've had all this in place for so long you've forgotten why.

To me it feels like I've never seen these settings before.

Though I accept that forgetting them would feel the same.
