They're proposing more changes:

Two things immediately struck me:
We propose to:
  • Remove the restrictions on how often channel providers may reorder LCNs within their portfolio and change channels’ names.
  • Remove the restrictions on channel providers trading LCNs.
So it seems like there might be even more bu**ering about with things than there is now.
 
I've never known a consultation that's genuine. Freeview will get the answer they want. So yes, even more pop-up notices of even more retunes - every week? :mad:
If you want to waste your time "voting against" the proposal you could give it a try. But expect Freeview to use the Trump gambit to say they won even when they lost.
 
Employers are required to consult on redundancies etc but they are not obliged to make any changes in their proposals as a result, consultation is not negotiation
