Lock folder

Is there a way to lock a folder in media files. I have children and want to lock films that are not appropriate for them to watch. It's taking a long time to do this to individual files.
If there isn't a way to do this, can someone clever write a package to do it, please?

I think you can use sweeper to do it (lock all recordings within a folder).
