So I got a HDR-1000s for Christmas 
All is installed OK (replaced an old Sky Digibox) and am pleased with the result (though disappointed to find that Sky seem to have the monopoly on HD channels via Satellite).
However - one small problem - The HDR is connected to my Sony Bravia TV via the HDMI cable. I find that even with the sound volume on the HDR turned up to max, the actual sound from the TV is much lower volume than from terrestrial channels. This is rather annoying as I now have to find both TV and HDR remote controls in order to adjust the volume (I don' t want to leave the TV volume cranked up high by default, as we don't use the HDR all the time). I've had a look around the options on the box and can't find anything to manage the output volume.
ALSO - are there any options to programme the remote so that it can turn the TV on/off with the HDR?
