Missing end of recording

Having a lot of instances of missing ends of recordings or programmed recordings cut short, is this a fault of the unit or inaccurate start/stop data being received ?
 
More info required: are these
  • Instant recordings (made by pressing the record button);
  • AR or auto-padding;
  • Consecutive programmes on the same channel;
  • Overlap of simultaneous multiple recordings.

AR with no padding . Since no others seem to be reporting the problem I will assume it is not a fault in the data. It has only become apparent since the last update so thought it may be associated with that.
 
Just for reference, setting any padding automatically cancels AR. It's no surprise if the AR flags sometimes get sent early (or maybe the programme was running late and the broadcaster didn't compensate).
