Moving Recordings

Trev

The Dumb One
I have some recordings that I copied off my 9200 and my Foxsat in separate folders in my Media\My Video folder and want to move them into a folder Media\My Video\Imported folder. If I do a cut and paste of the existing two folders from within the CF, will this do the sidecar file stuff? If not, what's the best way of doing it please?
The ones from theFoxsat have *.ts, *.hmt and *.thm files. Most of the 9200 files are just *.ts, with the occasional *.hmi.

Moving things in the WebIF media manager handles all the constituents of a recording as one entity. Don't worry.

You only have to worry about things like that when using FTP or Telnet.

PS: .hmi is created when there is no accompanying .hmt, and (as far as I know) only stores the playback resume point.

Thanks for that BH. I'll get on and do it then. The .hmi files were only present on the ones that I had played on the T2
