No Signal to TV

Just turned on my box but my TV is showing a message saying "no signal". I've checked my PS3 in the other HDMI port and the picture is showing fine. Any ideas?
 
The HDR-Fox T2 (a similar product) is quite often reported not to output an HDMI signal when it is turned on while recording from standby, maybe the DTR-T1010 has inherited this 'feature'
 
My T1000 is also suffering from no HDMI output, I think since the update on 25 October. It sometimes appears, then goes again.
