Opt > download says page not available

Hello,

Need some advice on a problem my parents are experiencing on their T2.

On the media list when clicking on the opt button located at the end of each recording and choosing download, it takes you to a page with the HDR white figure holding a sign saying the page isn’t available and you will be returning in 5 seconds the previous page.
It was permitting downloading last week?
Got them to ensure all software is updated. They were not able to perform a reboot due to recording Villages By The Sea!

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Would that require any reconfiguring afterwards do you know?
I would have to be guiding over a video call.
 
If a bit of WebIf has gone missing you should consider scheduling a visit to run fixdisk.

You need to do some hands-on maintenance. It's very tempting to install CF on relatives'/friends' HDRs (have done so myself), but then you become honour-bound to maintain it and deal with problems promptly. Trying to instruct people to do things remotely just results in frustration (for both of you).
 
It appears only one recording refuses to download. So probably not as bad as I feared. Phew. We shall perform a fixdisk next week to keep things shipshape.
