Random ST4000VM000 Woes

Crashed

New Member
Replaced the internal hard drive with a 4tb ST4000VM000
some recordings work fine & many others fail due to lack of space,
webif shows it ok but every so often using the T2 gui displays
Free space 0mb available so it refuses to record.

I followed the Very_Large_Hard_Drive when setting up the drive (can't post links)

Are there any other steps that I'm missing?

Web interface version: 1.4.4-7
Custom firmware version: 3.13 (build 4028)
Humax Version: 1.03.12 (kernel HDR_CFW_3.13)
Loader Version: a7.33

Will try RMA and CW install

I do have another T2 (500gb) in the living room but don't have them fox-linked, both are visible on a (windows) network

You might want to try installing the vbigdisk package. I think you'll need a reboot with that one too.

I would try using the gptf option on the telnet menu if possible, although it's possible that you have a failing PSU or faulty drive.
