Regular Auto Update on HDR-2000T

"Signal failed" would suggest the transmitter went off-air. Do you know of any transmitter maintenance on your local transmitter? This can often happen in the middle of the night. You say you recently changed to a 2000T. Are you absolutely sure you have it tuned to the correct transmitter for all the multiplexes? Anything within your house switches on or off when the signal goes off?
How many failed recordings so far? Two? My guess, and it is only a guess, is that the transmitter (or more likely, one multiplex) went off-air. There is obviously nothing you can do about that.

Sorry for delayed response - system did not send me an e-mail to say that there was another reply.

Checked local transmitter (Belmont Lincolnshire) - no note of any maintenance.

Definitely tuned to correct transmitter - progs record on all MUXs.

No signs of any other power failures in the house.

Two failures so far - both on Spike TV at approx. 02.45 am each time !!

Box has just failed today anyway !! - no sound so am posting about that now. Think it's time to change to another make !

Regards

Roy
