Remote Scheduling - I haven't received a confirmation email

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with the Remote Scheduling system that I am attempting to set up with my HDR-FOX T2.
I have inserted my email in to the settings page for the rs package on webif and clicked register, and it now lists my email as active but I have not received an email to set my password.
I have tried to reset my password on rs (dot) hpkg (dot) tv (I can't post links yet) but I am getting no email from that either, not even in junk.
I am not sure if this is a server problem or do I have to wait for a few days for the email to come through?
@af123 would you be able to help me with this please?

Unfortunately @af123 has not been responding to reports of server problems recently, possibly one too many sherries on New Years eve ;)
I might be waiting a while then
😆

Emails marked as suspicious get filtered out at the mail server, and never make it to your junk folder.
I wish! I'm bombarded with phishing and junk mail on one of my email addresses. Despite marking it as junk another, very similar, email gets through. Ad infinitum.

I wonder whether this is actually an RS server problem, or a mail server problem. Emails marked as suspicious get filtered out at the mail server, and never make it to your junk folder.
I used my Outlook email address, I wonder if there is a setting for this on their website since I use the Thunderbird email client which does not delete them automatically.

EDIT: There are no settings enabled on the Outlook web version to delete junk so all emails should get through.

I can't say all servers do it, or any particular sender is definitely blacklisted, but I have personal experience of no replies being received when I was trying to organise a funeral, simply because the subject line had "funeral" in it. I made enquiries when I hadn't heard anything after a couple of days, and it turned out replies were being sent... just never delivered.

(There were plenty o ffuneral plan scams circulating at the time)

I am going to wait a while, then I will try it with a gmail account.
