Schedule restore missed a couple of series being restored successfully

After updating my CF to 3.13 I had to restore my schedule but once I saw that some have not picked up incoming episodes I did refresh events and some were fine but two still could not see episodes in the next week. Is there sthing else I should have done

There was no need to restore your schedule after installing CF, please don't imply the one caused the other. The only reason to restore a schedule is after a retune.

Then there's something seriously wrong somewhere, which might go hand in hand with your complaints in your other thread.

This is beginning to look like a deliberate attempt to damage the reputation of the CF. To be clear: on a normal, properly working HDR-FOX, installing or updating CF DOES NOT affect the existing recording schedule, and use of the CF DOES NOT result in pixelated programmes/recordings.

However, if you had simply said there were missing items after a schedule restore, without linking this to a CF update, everything would have been fine.

Schedule restore tries to match items in the backup with items in the current EPG. If it can't match them, it can't restore them. One way to check whether the items in question were in the backup at all is to view the backup listing.

What are you talking about?

I had scheduled recordings
I updated the cf according to advice I received
Once the t2 came back on there were NONE recordings on the schedule.

Are you saying that I'm lying?

Prior to schedule restore I CHECKED the items to ensure I was restoring the correct backup

And to address the other accusation

Why on earth would I be damaging its reputation when I was the proponent of several features which I found very useful over the many years?

No just that a normal firmware update would not cause your symptoms, something else cause the schedule loss
Well. It sure as hell sounds like an accusation of deceit:
, if you had simply said there were missing items after a schedule restore, without linking this to a CF update

That's unfair. Once again you are lambasting someone for providing too much information in a situation where had that come out later and was relevant you'd be lambasting them for not providing it in the first place.
If you do anything in life and immediately afterward things go wrong then it is natural and normal to at least suspect a link. So in seeking help you'd of course mention the events immediately prior - the experts can then decide if they are relevant.

Yeah, like everything the OP posts is rational. How you choose to read my intentions is up to you, I'm quite clear about it.
