Sidecar and moving files back to the FOXSAT-HDR from a PC

I have looked under "WebIF/Package Management" for details of the SIDECAR functionality to recreate the two supporting files (hmt and nts) but cannot find it.

I am doing this because I have a number of files that were converted to MPEG-2 M2TS via VideoRedo and I am reading different things about their compatibility with the box:
1) Copy over and change the extension to *.ts and everything will be fine
2) Copy over and change the extension to *.ts then recreate the other files using sidecar
3) The files need to be created as a specific *.ts (rather than just renaming an M2TS and then use sidecar to create the other files

I've just tried (3) with a TS - 576p - MPEG-2 - 720x576 15000kbps option and WebIF display the icon for a bad file and it is not visible on the boxes Media menu.

I'm clearly missing something i.e.:
1) Copying anything other than original files will not work - I am wasting my time
2) I need to create a specific *.ts file - then the question is which one?
3) I need to generate the hmt and ts files - where do I find sidecar in order to do this (if sidecar is the right tool)?
