Streaming to a tablet?

Guys, best app please to watch streams i pick up from my humax hard drive box and stream via wireless to my tablet? Currently use vlc player but it won't let me go to any point in the program, cannot seek, have to watch from start and if i pause or stop it goes back to the beginning? Is this normal or is there a solution. Box has custom firmware. Just to reiterate this is not streaming from the internet, its the prerecorded tv. Thanks.

I'm not saying you will - but you might have more success with VLC if you link it to the HDR-FOX as a NAS (SMB server, using the CF samba package) instead of as a DLNA (UPnP) server (available without CF). The recordings would have to be decrypted beforehand of course.

Thank you....soon after i posted i sorted it..... bubble upnup app...with mx player...
Will leave thread here if anyone needs the solution.
