Stupid mistake, now locked out

Without thinking I uploaded 9300 software to my 9200 generating an ID error. Humax provided me with a new iD file ( which was for the 9300). Since uploading that the box refuses to turn on or communicate with the uploader, 4 bars appear on the display and then it freezes. Can anyone advise how to correct without sending back to Humax. Error location 1, error waiting 2 is displayed on the host pc after the loader counts down from 30.

I have middling knowledge of computer hardware etc.

That should be harmless; lots of people have done similar things with no ill effect.

Am I understanding correctly; you now have a 9200 with a 9300 ID? Did you load the 9300 software and or loader? I think you are in unknown territory; no ideas to offer at the moment.
