Stupid question....

sorry if I'm just being stupid, but how do I rescan? It hasn't been done for years and I'm sure there are new channels I should be able to get.

I can go to menuSettings but then installation is not selectable .....

HDR-FOX T2 device.

That is the correct place; is the box recording in which case the menu will be greyed out? If not recording then try putting the box into standby, waiting until the hard drive has stopped spinning and then turning the electrical power off for 10 seconds. When you power up again can you now access the installation menu? (default PIN is 0000).
