Transferring and editing from Humax

I've been using a programme called Avidemux32 to edit material containing commercials recorded on my 1100 and transferred to my PC.

For some reason the programme hangs when attempting to load from Horror Channel, but works with material from Talking Pictures. Does anybody know why?

This thread is for the Humax 1800/2000T Freeview+ pvrs. You mention a 1100 which may or may not be the Humax HDR-1100S a satellite pvr which you can't export recordings from.

First step is use the Treeview option of MediaInfo to identify what differences there are between the two files. You can post the text you can export from MediaInfo.

Try changing the file extension on the .mp4 that doesn't work to.m2ts, .mts or .ts. You can also try opening it in TSmuxergui and remux it int0 a .TS container.
