Web-IF remote ignored after crash

My HDR-Fox T2 froze so I powered it down.

As I powered it up, it crashed.

The dot matrix screen said "Crash" followed by a countdown to reboot.

It was so bad a crash it went back in time...

Code:
51 Your Humax crashed and some packages have been disabled as a precaution.
50 ... disabled plugins ...
49 Humax crashed at Sat Jan 1 00:00:12 UTC 2000 - Uptime: 12

On reboot, the dot matrix screen started scrolling despite the setting in redring saying not to.

Commands sent from the Web-IF remote are ignored.

Other Web-IF pages load normally.

The box has been powered down completely several times.

And by completely I mean:-

Off by the physical remote
Wait for click after 40+ seconds
Off by the physical switch at the back.

If anyone has any advice on how to restore funtionality to the Web-IF remote, I would be grateful.

Thank you, BH.

That has done the trick.

And thank you, prpr, for this presumably preventative measure.

For future readers, here is a more verbose version of the fix.

Go to the Diagnostics page in Web-IF.

Choose fix-flash-packages from the dropdown in the Diagnostics fieldset at the top of the page.

Click the Run Diagnostic button.

Wait a while for it to complete.

Paste plugin_autodisable/off over general in the field below the dropdown.

Click the Run Diagnostic button.

That's it.

And thank you, prpr, for this presumably preventative measure.
It stops key plug-ins being disabled in the event of multiple successive crashes, but does not prevent the warning appearing in the WebIF.

Disabling plug-ins is a protective measure to prevent losing control of the box if a plug-in was responsible for the crash, but that's mainly a developer risk.
