Where has "Real-time scheduling" gone

Custom Firmware Version: 3.14 (build 1757805000)
I have 2 boxes both show identical system info (at bottom of Diag page) except (obviously) for the serial numbers and Encryption Key yet one offers me Real-time scheduling as an option on Advanced Settings and the other doesn't. I have looked on the web, here and the on screen menus but nothing seems to explain it. I've visually compared the various settings pages on the webif and they are identical. I vaguely remember tripping over this before but can't for the life of me remember what the fix was. Can anyone oblige please?

The easy first thing to try is running the fix-flash-packages diagnostic and rebooting.
And then run the plugin_autodisable/off diagnostic.

I'd done a reboot and waved a piece of celery threateningly at the unit over lunch but not the diagnostic :-(
