Wifi dongle compatibility

I want to connect my HDR Fox T2 via a WiFi dongle as cable would be difficult. I see the RA3070 chipset is stated as compatible, but would the 5370 work as well? It is to do with size of dongle in front slot so it doesn't protrude too much. Thanks.

Only dongles with the RT3070 chipset are suitable.

There are alternatives to wired network or a WiFi dongle: HomePlug (AKA Powerline, eg Devolo), or a nano-router used in client mode (eg TP-Link WR702N).

You could consider a right angled adapter

That would be a great improvement, because it raises the dongle above the line of the box.
