YouTube via custom portal fails consistently

Every time I try to get beyond the initial YouTube screen, it fails as shown in the attached photo.
The latest versions of CF, WebIf, portal and other packages are all installed.
YouTube via the standard portal works fine.
Any ideas?

Remove the portal package - development was abandoned some years ago

Catch up TV has always been the weakest feature of the these boxes
