Change Two Letters Game

Hmm... is "Welsh" a valid word? And if it is, how do you get from there to "Weals"?? I'll take opinions whether the normal capitalisation of "Welsh" invalidates it, and if it does the last valid play was "Belch" with prpr and Trev in nib.

Dammit again-slow thinking!

But welsh is broadly used as " to welsh on a deal" = renege

You're right, but I would (personally) normally spell (and pronounce) that as "welch", so the "welsh" version did not occur to me.

Yes Trev, proper nouns are disallowed (are you playing this game without knowing the rules? See post 1). The problem is, it seems to me, that "Welsh" (as in being from Wales) is a proper adjective! The reason for not allowing proper nouns (or proper adjectives etc) in most word games is that one could capitalise just about any random string and claim it is a proper noun.

Okay then, we'll go with Welsh, and MikeSh and prpr are in nib.

"are you playing this game without knowing the rules? See post 1"

I know the rules but still make silly mistakes.

Corset

Stop posting you guys. I can't keep up.
