I suspected what turned out to be the correct interpretation, but wasn't sure. Seen a lot of occasions where different words are used intentionally to mean different things. So there could have been something very subtle about "update" versus "upgrade".
Using "package list" is good, but there again there isn't a "from the internet" when you carry out the real business.
You'll never sort everyone out, unfortunately. But, anyway, based on Fred, a basic computer user , and common terminology for a browser, here's another idea for the pot rant rant...

...as in "refresh browser" versus "download file".
(didn't I "download" the stuff in the first place?)
