    [network-shares-automount] package released

Pour yourself a large one! Neither machine had cifs installed and installing it has fixed both machines. Thank you, that's brilliant.:)

    [network-shares-automount] package released

Here are the results. I should have mentioned that the machines normally connect to two domains, "NASAudio" and "NAS", so there are two failure to connect reports. Please select option: cli...

    [network-shares-automount] package released

Yes, the boxes have been rebooted since. (The updates were done just after 4am when I wake them up for auto-processing, then shut down again at 5am.) I've power-cycled one HDR since then, with no change. FWIW: A second HDR with the same issue has a slightly smaller log file, but also too large...

    [network-shares-automount] package released

Thanks for taking a look at this at holiday time! I've just tried to open the file using the file editor on the WebIf Diagnostics page. It refuses, saying the file is "too large (1.62MiB > 100KiB)" I might need guidance to attempt a different way, but happy to give it a go.

    [network-shares-automount] package released

Early this morning my HDR boxes updated network-shares-automount from version 1.5 to 1.6 Two HDRs are set up to connect to a named domain on my Synology NAS. The configurations in [Modsettings] were set up some years ago and have been completely trouble-free (huge thank-you!) Since the update...

    Which Freesat PVR ?

Sony weren't alone in doing that. I have a 32" Panasonic LZD73 bought in 2008. That also has a full HD panel but only a DVB-T tuner. At the time it was their 'top-of-the-range' set. HD was coming but there was debate about whether a 32" panel justified full-HD. It has good sound for a TV and...

    Adding video

With some reservations the hummy can play .MP4 files up to 1080p, whether from a usb stick, on the hummy's own hd or via a network connection to a NAS. AAC audio is supported but not, I think, AC3. Some 'trick play' functions that are possible with .ts files may not work. I suggest just give it...

    BBC red button teletext

Neither of my LG sets has it. The older of the two was purchased in Feb'22. I can get by without it but still make use of it on the HDR.

    Firmware 1.02.32

I also have a .zip "HDR-FOX_T2_1.02.32" I can't be 100% certain that it is what it says on the tin, but I'm happy to provide it.

    T2 Rebooting

I had the same problem. In the end I gave up on persuasion and used tunefix to swap the channel numbers around. Worked like a charm.

Temperature running high. Sysmon not Loading.

I had the same problem, same fix. Thanks to both.

Bargain new and sealed WD20EURX 2TB AV drives on eBay

Your date above (one day younger) isn't consistent with your reported date of the first disk. Did you mean 18/8/16 ? My disk arrived a couple of days ago. It certainly looks new, pristine inside a sealed Western Digital sleeve. The label shows date of manufacture 17 Aug 2016 , which seems...

No access to RS or Forum yesterday afternoon

I lost access for a few hours, no error reported but perhaps I didn't wait long enough. A check with "Downdetector" confirmed that the site was down but all seems well now.

Bargain new and sealed WD20EURX 2TB AV drives on eBay

One is heading in my direction, thanks to your post. I suspect that genuine new ones are rare nowadays.

    Broadchurch on ITV3 (10)

I usually dump +1 channels using Tunefix but I can see that the EPG for ITV3+1 and ITV4+1 consists of just two entries per day: 04:00 to 06:00 Teleshopping 06:00 to 04:00 Programmes start at 4am I came across this explanation "ITV makes surprise Freeview change" which seems to shed light on...
