I keep getting a repeat notification of a failed recording. the date: 20210721_0040. I have temporally stopped it by turning off the notifications. How can I stop this happening so I can turn the notifications back on for genuine failed recordings. Thanks, in anticipation of a solution.

There doesn't seem to be any adjustments on the HDMI inputs. The TV is the same one I was using when it was previously working. I have checked the HDMI input with other STBs I have and they all have sound. I do have a spare TV. Thats a good idea I never thought to do that. I will try that out...

Thanks for the quick reply. The sound volume is at "20" I will check that particular socket but there was still no sound when I swapped the cable to another one of the sockets. Digital Audio Output is set to "stereo"

Yes I mainly use Media House and Dlna Player (Android). If there better apps available please let me know. That sounds okay because I can use the TV to access the NAS contents where before I used the Humax. Thanks for your time and effort.
